The capsule collection by adidas Originals known as Materials of the World focused on the unique combination between traditional fabrics from all over the world and the fairly modern silhouettes of adidas sneakers. The collaborative products not only convey the heritages of the adidas brand. It also express long-held traditions, through the fabrics, from each regions of the world. Last month, the Materials of the World Collection arrived in adidas’ flagship store at Pacific Plaza in Singapore. The collection, presented in a gallery-like format, highlighted each material and its origin. adidas also invited MOMOROBO, a Singapore-based creative collective, whose works have featured in Computer Arts and RESFest, to create one of the kind event identity for this special launch. The Materials of the World Fall/Winter 07 Collection is currently available for purchase at adidas Originals in Pacific Plaza.
