Lacoste Missouri x Croc Mythology

Lacoste delve into the mythology surrounding their infamous crocodile logo with their new pack entitled 'Crocodile Mythology - Myth vs. Legend’. The collection consists of nine styles from various cultural centres of the globe, with each sneaker detailing stories adapted from the tennis brand icon.

The Missouri is an all white shoe inspired by the Albino crocodile of South Africa. The extra detailing on the shoe is taken from the Venda tribe’s colourful clothing. This colour is displayed on the insock, lining and sole of the Missouri. In addition white embossed crocodile gloss effect skin features around the entire shoe adding an essence of authenticity and homage to the Albino crocodile.

The special pair will be exclusively available @ Sole What : Main Store this Saturday, 30th May 2009.

SneakersBR x Nike Air Max 1 "Lancerio"

The special kicks celebrate the Brazilian sneaker website, SneakersBR’s 2nd Anniversary since it was transformed into a full fledged website by founder Ricardo Nunes. Entitled the Lanceiro, this limited edition AM1 celebrates the culture of Pernambuco (the home state of SneakersBR) and the Manguebeat musical movement. Features include a blue leather upper symbolizing the flag of Pernambuco, a yellow air capsule symbolizing the sun, and speckled midsole which is a reminder of the mud and mangroves of the swamps, vital icons of the state’s culture that “baptized” the Manguebeat movement. Capping off the design is a heel tab featuring the emblematic phrase of Chico Science “Um Passo à Frente e Você Já Não Está Mais No Mesmo Lugar” (One step ahead and you’re no longer in the same place).

Nike Vandal High Supreme Ex

The Nike Vandal High Supreme EX is getting a true punk rock makeover in their latest reincarnation. This special edition really took its “vandal” namesake to heart with its leather upper shaped into “punk stud” forms that wrap around the entire sneaker. Highlighted by heavy duty ankle straps and metallic accents. The tongue and toebox are draped in white mesh, while the Nike swoosh sports smooth leather and the midsole boldly stands out in metallic silver.

Onitsuka Tiger x MINI

It is a reprise of the great partnership between Onitsuka Tiger and Mini. Both are great players of the urban lifestyle genre. The specially designed R55 Mini Urban Pack consists of three sneakers, adopting cues of materials used on the car, such as perforated leathers, pedal gears, MINI badges and carbon fiber. There is also a special sneaker in the pack honoring the John Cooper Works edition, a more powerful tuned version of the car.

In celebration of this partnership, there will be a very special Launch Party for the Mini Owners' Club Malaysia this Sunday, 10th May 2009 at Sole What : Main Store.

The party is open to public from 3.30pm onwards. Don't miss the chance to come see, feel and perhaps own a pair or two or even three before the rest!!!
