KLAV 2008

The KL Audio Visual fair just ended over the weekend. Being a bit of a sound & tech geek, it's pretty diffucult to resist heading to Marriot KL to check it out.

Best sound of the show was definitely the LS35A room. It's a vintage studio monitor for the BBC & to hear such bliss music playing out of them was a true treat. The vintage tube amps from Quad, Leak & Mcintosh on display was like a walk down the golden age of Hi-Fi. Congrats on a great show Jo.

Frozen George Lucas

This sculpture of George Lucas (the Godfather of the Star Wars franchise) frozen in carbonite was made for the Star Wars celebration in Japan.

Taking the inspiration from the Japanese police mascot Pipo, is the latest vinyl from Kaws. All the visual cues such as the ears and crossed eyes are the identifying factors from Kaws Inc. There is also one in black but this colorway seem to be the eye-catching one.

Streething x Canon Selphy Contest

Streething have teamed up with the good folks over at Canon to give you the chance to win some cool Selphy portable printers and IXUS digital cameras.

To enter, you will first need to think of a creative way to use the Canon Selphy ES210 printer. If you’re stuck for ideas, check out some examples here, where we used the little wonder to keep our office more organized, make a sample lookbook, and even out to party.
