Back from TOKYO!

Japan and most importantly Tokyo has always had an important place in my mind n soul. The city is just bursting with so many happenings n recently it certainly put itself ahead of so many mega-cities in the world.

This trip is certainly eye-opening and to see Tokyo once again has rejuvenated this buzz inside me to work even harder; if not we will be sooooo far behind, it's not funny.

First n foremost, my sincere thanks to Hobby Tech, Rob and Hiroki for spending time with me during my trip. Having time with u guys and exchanging ideas n foresights is a great honor indeed.

How to make a MOJITO

Happen to try the drink when I was in NYC, and I must say that I have been craving for it ever since. No chance of ordering one which is as good over here (if anybody tried a nice one do let me know where) so I decided to make my own!!



Mojitos are light and refreshing, and are ideal for getting twisted in the summer heat. Keep the count to two, then switch to something less sweet in order to curb the hangover.

Ingredients:
-3 fresh mint sprigs
-2 tsp. sugar
-1 lime, quartered
-2 oz. 10 Cane rum
-splash of soda

Crush the mint, limes, and sugar in the bottom of a sturdy glass. Add ice and rum, shake, and top off with soda.

Kicks and the details

Kicks, Kicks, Kicks.....it's so easy to miss the details when u don't look close enough...


Court Force "Kakigori"- Nike really did go to lengths to add details to this shoe that may go amiss to the casual eye.



For starters, check out the color spec used for the upper which blends in nicely with the icey midsole.



A pin stripe lining was also stitched on to add "color"






Air Force 1 City Series - CHINA.


Chinese wording on insole translated to clay which explains the tonal color of this shoe.



The woven material is also a subtle reminder of the wide use of bamboo weave in China.
